Real Play Example
In this video, we offer a comprehensive synthesis of the course’s key concepts, reads, and interventions, vividly demonstrated in a ‘Real Play’ scenario. Experience the principles of Psychological Flexibility through Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) seamlessly integrated within the Human Rehabilitation Framework (HRF), showcasing the depth and intricacy of clinical practice. The video features over 90 unique ‘Reads’ and interventions, targeting the nine processes of change as delineated in the HRF. These are exemplified through the ‘nonaflex dancing’, the dynamic process of rapidly reading processes and pivoting to target different processes, in a way that illustrates how clinicians can embody openness, awareness, and active engagement in therapy. This presentation is not just educational—it is an immersive journey into the dynamic and multifaceted nature of real-world clinical practice.
